Scope of Services & Safety Boundaries
The Home Essentialista LLC provides specialized cosmetic residential, commercial, and recreational vehicle cleaning services. For the safety of our solo operator, we enforce strict physical boundaries:
Heavy Lifting: We do not lift or move furniture weighing over 35 pounds. Areas behind or underneath heavy appliances/furniture will only be cleaned if moved by the client prior to our arrival.
Height Restrictions: We do not climb ladders higher than a standard 2-step stepstool.
Biohazards: We do not handle or clean biohazardous waste, mold, hoarding conditions, animal feces, or active pest infestations.
Pre-Existing Damage & Fragile Items
We treat your property or vehicle with the utmost care. However, The Home Essentialista LLC is not responsible or liable for:
Damage to items that are inherently fragile, improperly secured, or poorly constructed.
Pre-existing wear-and-tear, scratches, stains, sun damage, or structural issues that become visible after dirt and grime are removed (especially common in high-turnover rentals, older properties, mobile homes, and RVs).
We ask that all irreplaceable, highly valuable, or deeply sentimental items be put away safely prior to our scheduled cleaning.
Specialized Service Disclaimers
Vacation Rental & Short-Term Rental Turnovers: Our turnover services apply to properties listed on any platform (including Airbnb, VRBO, or private property management systems). We work efficiently to meet tight check-in windows. However, we are not liable for delayed guest check-ins caused by extreme prior guest messes, guest property damage, lockout situations, or delays outside our control. The primary host or property manager remains responsible for guest interactions and property security.
Real Estate Market Readiness Cleans: This premium service is limited to deep surface detailing and light aesthetic staging to prepare the property for market presentation and photography. The service provider does not offer junk removal, hauling, or trash-out services. Major debris removal and deep post-renovation construction cleanup are strictly excluded from this scope unless explicitly requested and approved in writing prior to the service date.
Mobile Home & RV Cleanings: Recreational vehicles (RVs) and mobile homes require specialized care. The Home Essentialista LLC is not responsible for leaks, water damage from pre-existing seal failures, or damage to delicate, lightweight manufacturer components standard in RV interiors. Vehicles must be parked safely on level ground with internal systems turned off during cleaning.
Pre-Baby Nesting Cleans: Our nesting service is designed to give expecting parents total peace of mind. We provide an exceptionally thorough, meticulous deep surface clean focused on creating a fresh, welcoming environment for your newborn. We use family-safe, standard cleaning solutions to prepare your space. Please note that this is a highly detailed lifestyle clean and not a medical-grade or hospital-grade sterilization process.
